I absolutely love weddings and everything about them. Watching two people commit themselves to each other for the rest of their lives is so beautiful and special. Two of my best friends are getting married this year, and I've been invited to two others as well! I can't wait. With all of these upcoming nuptials and being someone who has had a wedding herself, got me thinking I should do a blogging series about weddings! More importantly, how a bride can "survive" and get through the whole wedding planning experience. Because, let's be honest. It's not all cake and sprinkles throughout.
That is why I've decided to do a blogging series on things I feel a bride could use help with when planning her wedding. Now I am no wedding planner, event coordinator, or anything of the sort. But I do know that I definitely learned a few things while planning my wedding that I think is worth sharing! So with that being said, I've come up with a Brides Guide for all things wedding! I am going to be breaking this series up into a few different posts, each with a different topic. The topics of this series will be:
Why A Wedding Budget Is A Must
5 Tips To Help You Say Yes To The Dress
12 Brides Share Their #1 Thing NOT To Skimp Out On
8 Perfect Bridal Shower Dresses
Why We Chose To Do Pre-Marital Counseling
From The Grooms Point Of View
10 Random Tidbits For The Bride-To-Be
I had tons of ideas about what topics to write about and narrowed it down to these. I wanted it more to be about advice, rather than a "how to." Each bride is different and has her own sense of style, so with these topics, I feel like it applies to every bride! Who doesn't love free advice? ;) I'll be sharing 1-2 posts a week, so it'll be about a month long series.
The first topic, "Why Creating A Budget Is Important" I'll be sharing next week! So stay tuned for that :) I can't wait to get started. I've been having a hard time deciding what I should write about on my blog lately. So when I thought of this I just had tons of ideas going through my brain!
Anyways, can't wait to start sharing! Talk to you all soon.
